There is profound quote which says, “When God closes one door he opens another”. How true it was when I was to start practice full time and my maid had to leave because she was in the family way.

Day care concept was not something I was comfortable with but I happened to visit Anubhav Learning Centre by chance after visiting other day care centre. However, after 4 visits and talking to Dr. Gulabani, I finally realized and decided to put my kids at Anubhav with a heavy heart, full of guilt and unsure as to how they would respond

The first three months was pure torture for me, but full marks to the teachers and staff at Anubhav which made the transition so comfortable for me.

To cut the long story short, at Anubhav the kids have found a home away from home in terms of hygiene, food, attention and most importantly love and patience. The staff and Dr. Gulabani are always open to suggestions, ideas and even criticism.

In the last 8 months, I have seen an attempt to strive for improvement of infrastructure, organization and innovation. This is a sign of an healthy institute. My family and I would like to thank the staff and teachers for all they so lovingly do and for being so transparent, truthful and honest to the parents. A special thanks to Dr. Gulabani for making “Anubhav” truly an “Anubhav” for a life time for these little kids.

I wish you all a very happy and peaceful new year 2009.

Kind Regards,
Dr. Shweta K. Javali

Allow me to begin with thanking Dr. Neena Gulabani and the teachers and staff of Anubhav Learning Center for being so wonderful to our little Aadya and for giving me this platform to be able to share some of the lovely experiences we have had as parents of our child being part of this warm and caring institution.

Dear peer parents, for us the journey for looking for a good environment school was a bit tedious. Having shifted from West Delhi to South in order to be closer to our work places and hence have more time for Aadya and also to try and make most of ‘better schools’ in the area. We were immediately so unsure of having taken a right decision. Numerous visits to play schools that were either too mechanical or just did not feel right. Fortunately we heard of Neena from one of her ex-colleagues and were certain this is where we wanted our daughter to be in during our first visit. But the experience from then on only got better.

The school shifted from the nice residential space to the better open space in Pamposh Enclave. Aadya clearly loved the open spaces like I am certain all other children. But what we loved most has been beyond spaces… has been the relationship that Aadya has grown so fond of even with her fussiness and reservations in opening up. The relationship that we both share so fondly with everyone. The effort to get us prepared, better informed and making choices for our little one.

She has clearly been a special one like everyone of your children for everyone at Anubhav. Everytime I told her if you don’t go to school your ma’am will be sad because she loves you I knew she believed it and never said ‘no she does not’.

I especially cherish the wonderful days like Teej celebrations which helped me know many of you. It was such a lovely gesture to make sure we knew each others better and shared a call or two to talk about our children… their admissions and so on.

The school has also taught me to not underestimate my child. I had been telling her the story of Ramayan for over a year but with lesser details thinking they will not make much sense to her. Then closer to this diwali celebration there were suddenly questions like besides Kekaiye and Sumitra which was the third queen? Who were the twins? She also knew that Ayodhya was part of the kingdom of Kosala, which was something I did not even remember from my school days.

The drive to support NGO’s helped me convince my girl of agreeing to part with things she has outgrown. Believe me it was task before even though I come from the NGO world.

There are so many lovely instances of how Liz, Sangeeta and everyone else has been so supportive and sincere making all efforts to ensure Aadya opened up, learned to adjust and felt secure at Anubhav.

Thanks to all of you for the very enriching experience of being associated with Anubhav. For taking such great care of our little one and for the ownership you display on matters that as parents are of primary importance to us.

Our relationship with Anubhav will continue as it will stay Aadya’s day care and will always stay very special to our lives. For the wonderful foundation that you have laid in not only her as a child but in us as parents.

Thank you!

Dear Ma'am, " Brilliant" is the only word which aptly describes our annual day functions held on last Saturday at ISCKON Auditorium. Every minute detail seemed to be taken care of and perfectly organised , and this kids were amazing .

Coming to the newsletter, it was indeed very refreshing and this is a milestone for Anuhav. We look forward to more. May I once again express my deep appreciation for you and your team .

Incidentally , I'm reminded of a Latin phrase " Res Ipsa Loquitor" which means " Thing speaks for itself " - this show is a "res ipsa loquitor " by Anubhav .

Deep Regards,

OUR JOURNEY WITH ANUBHAV My mind is afresh to that evening when my daughter, bouncing with joy excitedly narrated her new experience – it was her first day at Anubhav. Having completed 3 years of journey with Anubhav, the experience can only be described as the faith a mother feels leaving her child in safe hands.

The roof of Anubhav encompasses within itself fun filled educational learning, platform for expression of creative skills, induction of sophistication and good manners, instilling respect and regard for our diverse religions, worship and culture and above all emphasis on values.

We have had a most fulfilling experience with Anubhav in the past three years and look forward to a wonderful future as part of this institution.
